Fruitcake Serving Suggestion

browngirlI swear, right now my journal is sausage politics and fruitcake. I can, and soon will, write about other topics.
I finished the Baking Phase of the Fruitcake Project yesterday, modulo various sorts of disaster (and had a really nice conversation with Tigerlily's father this morning about it, when he called to say hi to his daughter *beam*). You should see my Tower ofPower Fruitcake. Breaking this up over several weekends was a *really* good idea (spreading out the madness!), and how I think I'm going to do things from now on.

fitfool a tub when she came over and took all those fantastic pictures, and she sent me this ravishing photo today:
Now to decorate and mail. I need to plan how I'm going to assemble the samplers, which are multiplied by a factor of eight. I was planning to mail the 'plain' ones and fruitcake crumb tubs this weekend, but due to a slight case of broketude, I think I'm going to have to delay that a paycheck.
My goal is to be done, mailed, and packed away by Thanksgiving. I have three weekends between now and then.
