Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day is a video arranging photographs by the Cassini spacecraft into views of what flying towards/by Saturn would look like. It's stunning and inspiring.

Meanwhile, I do so love memes, not least at moments right now when I'm afflicted with Writer's Slowdown or something. I got this from the incomparable igrockspock: Ask me about a pairing (or character) I have written (or haven't and you think I should write) and I will give you five facts about them or a ficlet or a song that is CLEARLY THEIR SONG or what they order from the Chinese place down the street, etc, etc.

When I figure out a scene with Gaila and Gandalf I will write it with Spock!Prime playing Gandalf.

Meanwhile: all I can think of is Gaila grinning down at Jason Todd as he tries his teenage best to hit on her smoothly, while Steph Brown laughs and watches and laughs. And then Steph takes Gaila flying.
