Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day is a video arranging photographs by the Cassini spacecraft into views of what flying towards/by Saturn would look like. It's stunning and inspiring.

Meanwhile, I do so love memes, not least at moments right now when I'm afflicted with Writer's Slowdown or something. I got this from the incomparable igrockspock: Ask me about a pairing (or character) I have written (or haven't and you think I should write) and I will give you five facts about them or a ficlet or a song that is CLEARLY THEIR SONG or what they order from the Chinese place down the street, etc, etc.

To be a bit pepperjack-cheeseque, I think Kirk likes noodles and McCoy likes dumplings and fried lumps whenever they get American-style 'Chinese' food. (He always gets a vegetable dish too, and badgers some of it into Kirk.)
