Three Questions

In random order.

1) Would anyone like a bar of chocolate a student gave me? It's Swiss, with a nut filling. (TL, it has almonds in it, or I'd bring it home to you.)

2) What on earth should I dress up as for (next) Halloween? I never know what would be iconically recognizeable that I'd be willing to wear. (No kerchiefs, please.)

3) Is it fair to repost a story to my other, writing journal that I originally wrote for here some time ago? (I don't want to post a link.)

Of course it is fair! You wrote it.

"What on earth should I dress up as for (next) Halloween?"

I love costumes - will wear my tiara at any moment. Leila and I used to wear ours to do housework. Are you dressing up in costume for this Halloween? I have an old-fashioned-looking lady's hat, complete with veil and feathers, that I will wear. The veil is a spider's web, and the feathers hide a spider. I will wear it with bright red lipstick and a black velvet cape. Once, in September, I was wearing this black velvet cape with a broad brimmed hat. I was carrying a basket of food that I was bringing to a sick friend. While crossing a street, a construction worker yelled at me: "Halloween is next month!" I guess he didn't understand the importance of dressing in costume at every opportunity.

I have a Flowerpot Hat, which I will be wearing, but that's it.

That construction worker should hae enjoyed the sight; I bet you looked wonderful!

  1. I'd love it, but I'm too far away.
  2. No idea.
  3. What [livejournal.com profile] dhs said. I'll add that since you're clearly concerned about it, adding a headnote like "originally posted in my writing journal" would IMHO make it completely All Right.

*nod* OK, and thank you. :)

And I would have mailed you the chocolate...

Oooooh, chocolate.

Which reminds me! Would you like a loaf of whole grain bread, or sunflower bread, or something else (healthy) I could do for you?

And yes, reposting stories is perfectly legit!

Oh, sweetie, you don't have to mail me bread. But thank you for offering, a lot! *hugs you warmly*

Only if you get the author's permission first. So ask yourself. :)

Well, if nobody else has spoken for the chocolate yet...

It's winging its way to you. :D

Wow, that was fast! Um, thanks! Where is it going? :-)
