Laptop User Question

So, I'm playing with my iBook (G4), and I decide to burn a mix. I insert a blank CD, and iTunes stops responding. I force it to quit and reopen it, and it claims to not be able to find its cd burning files. I download iTunes from Apple, install it, restart, and try again, with the same result. Also, the CD is not showing up on the desktop, and I can't eject it.

So, what if anything can I do now, to avoid an expensive trip to the Galleria?

Okay, um, I have to ask this (because once I forgot I had one, lol), but do you have an eject button? Or is one of your F-keys configured to eject discs? If not, look for a teeny hole next to the CD slow - I know my old computer had one, and you could stick a teeny wire (I used an unbent paperclip) in, and it would trigger the eject mechanism.

Sorry you are having trouble with the CD burning - I don't know what to tell you on that, since you've already done the things I would have tried.
