First Officer T'Pura

Did you know that Nichelle Nichols auditioned for the part of Spock? Well, a friend of mine made a really awesome manip of how she might have looked in that role.

WOW. What directions could the series have taken us with that premise? I'd probably have been even more compelled by it than ever, especially as Nichelle Nichols will always be my first-ever celebrity crush. As a nine year-old, I would have done ANYTHING for that lady. *sigh*
