I have deelyboppers.

I am currently wearing red, glowing, heart-shaped deelyboppers.

I have already been told by the kids that they are very cool.

Not all is right in my world, but I have glowing red deelyboppers, how shall I be sad?

deelyboppers were actually created to keep sadness at bay!
And RED deelyboppers are the most effective!
(I can't seem to find my source for this fact...perhaps you could just trust me on this one?)

AND, they're cool *wink*

I came to work in my Renfaire outfit, complete with pirate shirt and plumed hat. (I left the rapier at home, for no reason other than it bumps into things and would get in the way while trying to actually work. But still, yay Halloween!)

Deelyboppers are those antenna-like things that you wear on your head -- typically you have two wires (or stiff springs) with something fuzzy and wacky on the ends.

thanks for your reply - guess what - I have some of those antennae-things. didn't know they were called deelyboppers, though - I just called them "antenna-things".

Deelyboppers are prosthetic antennae worn on a headband. Basic models have bright plastic spheres at the end of long stiff springs. More elaborate ones have models of the earth, eyes, bugs, hearts, etc, instead of solid-color spheres.

thanks for telling me about "deelyboppers" - I have some, but didn't know what they were called. They are fun to wear - you can't help smiling while wearing them.
