Moving My Old Webpage Onto My LJ

I've been looking at my defunct webpage, and my two livejournals, and thinking.

Eventually, I had an idea.

So I wrote it down.

I'm thinking of posting the bits of my webpage that I still want to save to this journal, and then stripping down what I actually put up to my resume and a revamp of the Oldest Cities in the World Page (anyone who is offended by the Oldest Cities in the World Page is not someone I want to work for)..

And so.

But a tag opens up a long list of entries, none of which may be what I'm looking for, and I'll may have to go back several pages to find the right title. On a website it's all there on one page, you only have to click twice - say fic page and then the right title. And art - she doesn't post much art, so I'd have to go through a lot of fic before I even find an art tag, and then I have to wade through the art to find what I want. I'd much rather visit a website. It's handier. Of course she'll do what she likes, and a lot of people seem to think LJs are easier to keep than websites.

And there's always the dedicated-separate-LJ option -- preferably with index-entries, that have links to the indexed .. er .. entries.

See, now, that would be handy!

I can't take credit; I've seen the method used by several writers on LJ.
