Miracles.

When I was a kid, I learned about miracles, as in Jesus healing someone, or turning water into wine. I got older, and left Christianity, and stopped believing in that kind of miracle.

There *are* still miracles, though. One of my dearest friends has recently found out that she's unexpectedly and wonderfully pregnant. I am far more delighted than I can get into words.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!1!

That's fabulous news -- and I'm just dying to know how you two know each other, too, now that I've sent her a "hi, remember me?" :-)

Wow, that's truly wonderous and totally amazing!!! Thank you for pointing it out!

My God, I hope that's not why I've been so nauseous lately, LOL! (NO NO, No worries. I have my period right now and have also taken precautions, so it's not that.)

:)

We, too, received a miracle a little more than four years ago--we named her Margaret! I had had five miscarriages before we had Meg (and two since Meg was born)--we almost gave up hope. But lots of folks were praying for us and our prayers were answered.

May your friend be richly blessed. And you may assure her, that things get a little easier as the pregnancy goes along. (For one thing, you start taking the rest you need and don't care that X-Y-and-Z aren't getting done...)

All the best to your friend. Won't you have great fun playing "Auntie"! You get to do all the spoiling and then give them back to the Mom.....

Best wishes,
Mary Anne
