A Post, A Response, and a Resource.
So
_dahne_'s post calling for an end to social justice in fandom is being much discussed. I took down my post from yesterday, which was more emotional and disorganized than I like, and instead of rewriting it I'll link to this response at
foc_u.
Also,
brighteyed_jill has linked to the sensible post, On Having That Conversation. This is the post that
_dahne_ purports to have written, but hers is very much not.
Now, having said all that, I'm going to go work on a story for my next post here.

What I probably should have said was "If you're not interested then use the power of the back button and go away. Other people ARE interested and can survive having a discussion without you."

(And boy, did my stomach thank me for realizing I could give myself permission to not stress about everything all at the same time without ever stopping to do something else for a while.)
*hugs* I hope you're going to do something unstressful tonight, m'dear. I'm going to try to actually finish a WIP. Go ahead, laugh. But it's worth trying, right?
