International Day of Femslash: Announcement And Prompts Request
So, the International Day of Femslash this year will be July 17, 2010. Last year I failed to write anything for it, SO. If you're running your eye across this, you're in Star Trek Reboot fandom, and you feel like it, please toss me a prompt or three? I can't promise anything, but I really want to try to write a story for the IDoF this year.
(Also, does genderswap count, do you think? I owe my Leah McCoy a happier alternate life, and I was thinking her genderswapped-Reboot variant Lenore migt enjoy being exasperated by a tall athletic blonde named Jenny Kirk who's got a talent for getting into scrapes.)

Why? Because I've never seen it before and it would be HOT.

I feel like I'm writing a Christmas wish list!
I know the prompt is kind of ironic, but I love the trope and it doesn't seem fair that Kirk gets to "sacrifice his body for the cause" all the time. Also, I love how you write Gaila, OFCs, and aliens so this will be win-win-win for me. :D
Speaking of Leah, would it work out ok if she got to play with some nice, non-Machiavellian lass? Or would Kirk ruin it somehow?
Winona and temporarily-gender-swapped Pike, helping him get comfortable in his current body. Jim finds out. Does he freak out at the thought of his two parent-figures having a roll in the hay, give them a thumbs up, or get totally pissed because he had the same idea but Winona got there first? Or any other reaction you like, so long as at least one of the three is insufferably smug (it could totally be Pike.)
Bonus fourth prompt: Uhura and Spock, where Spock is as in Reboot canon but is female underneath that sassy instructor's uniform. Not sure how this would work, exactly, but Vulcans =/= humans so the gender constructions could be all deliciously catawampus. IDK it'd be cool if Spock was female (whether biologically or culturally or on any point in that continuum) and only Uhura knows it.

I JUST (JUST) WOKE FROM A DREAM WHERE YOU AND I MET.
SULU WAS IN THE HOSPITAL GETTING HIS TONSILS OUT AND HE WAS GETTING CONSTANT VISITORS AND I WAS THERE TOO BECAUSE I HAD MONO AGAIN, BUT I WAS LIKE, GOTTA GO MEET RUBYNYE, SO I STAGGERED TO SULU'S ROOM AND SHOOK YOUR HAND AND THEN FELL ASLEEP, LOL??
I'm sorry this is not a femmeslash prompt but I think genderswap is ttly awesome and cool and you should write that if you like! I mean I would squeeze my face with excitement over girl-Sulu/girl-Chekov go to Russia, of course, but anything you write will kick ass.
... BUT SERIOUSLY WHAT, MONO, THE HOSPITAL???

OTOH gender!swap sometimes feels like cheating, since the female characters who have gone unnoticed still get no attention. In that case how about Winona/Number One (who was totes on the Kelvin somewhere)? I can see Winona crushing on her big time while George does his little dance with Robau.

If genderswap counts, girl!Scotty/Gaila. Because smart, tech-savvy girls need to band together.
If not, Gaila/Chapel-- as the Narada limps home, an injured Gaila bonds with her nurse. If you know what I mean.
