I love people and their delightful insanities (and wish I still had an Aitchpea icon).

Muggle Quidditch? I *heart* the world, some days.

...I am seriously watching this thinking, you know, there has to be some way to make proper working mechanized bludgers and snitches. Proper flying brooms might be a way off, but th4e other two really ought to be doable somehow. You know, for the purposes of NCAA Quidditch.

Follow up to my post below...

But when I saw 'mechanized bludgers' my first thought was tetherball. Some kids get vicious with those!

You know, my first thought when I saw your post was that they should play Quidditch using the wires they put on figure skaters to keep them up when they are learning jumps. Hover them and give them some means of propulsion (remote control on the broom) and you'd have the next best thing to *real* Quidditch. Hehehe
