LGBTFest!

[livejournal.com profile] penknife and [livejournal.com profile] mireille719 have just announced [livejournal.com profile] lgbtfest, a fest for "fanfic that focuses on what it's like to be lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender.... The fest is multi-fandom and open to stories about any characters you want to write as LGBT, whether they're canonically LGBT or not." (The quoted bits are from [livejournal.com profile] penknife's post here)

The Introduction/FAQ Post
The Prompt Submission Post

I think this will be absolutely awesome, and I hope the news is spread far and wide.

(Tell me NOT to write about Kory's confusion with the whole concept of gay vs straight vs bi, really. Please tell me not to.)
(Oh God. "Menina". The Steph/Girl!Jason plotbunny. Tell me not to write that one too.)

You should totally write about that.

I think she could manage the concept- some people like, oh, chocolate, or convertible cars, or flashy earrings, or this particular configuration of genitals, okay- but the enforced divisions would confuse her no end, as would the cultural baggage attached to the whole thing.

...So by that I mean "if you don't write it, somebody should." (And Donna would be no help at all. Poor confused Kory.)

Your Kory is ever apropos, as is your Steph.
