" It's Time To Talk About Black Privilege"
I was going to write a long reply, but my response pretty much boils down to derisive laughter with a side of annoyance. I suppose I should be up for yet another lengthy persuasive explanation of how, for example, White History Month is actually every month (yes, even February, when we pause briefly to point out Dr. King and a couple other Black people who Did Stuff before returning to "regular" [aka described-as-all-White] history) but I remember having this debate when I was fifteen and it's just as ridiculous now.

"Let's recap for the understanding-impaired," he seemed to be saying. "Moving from a place of privilege to a state of equality is NOT becoming oppressed."
That he even has to say so sucks red rubber moose meat.
