Sometimes I am sorry I left places like Elbows rather than being there to bring stuff like this up, but then I remember the reaction I'd get if I did, and thus why I left.

" It's Time To Talk About Black Privilege"

I was going to write a long reply, but my response pretty much boils down to derisive laughter with a side of annoyance. I suppose I should be up for yet another lengthy persuasive explanation of how, for example, White History Month is actually every month (yes, even February, when we pause briefly to point out Dr. King and a couple other Black people who Did Stuff before returning to "regular" [aka described-as-all-White] history) but I remember having this debate when I was fifteen and it's just as ridiculous now.
