The Magical Biscuit

(I need something to think about besides the debacle of my day)



It's a piece of boulder opal that really does look like a chocolate cookie. I think I could probably make cookies that look like this, if I could figure out how.

A quick idea before I run off to work:

Chocolate cookie base
Poured fudge frosting
Colored sugar pieces (made by tossing sugar with food color, melting together on parchment, then breaking up), pressed down into the fudge frosting as it sets
