And The Sky All Full Of Light

I should really have titled this "Solstice Sky", not least since I probably used that title recently, but... I woke up around 5:30 this morning, and the sky was covered in luminescent clouds with little holes like light-wells, dripping golden radiance, and the eastern clouds blazed with rosy fire. I meant to take a verbal picture then and there, but I fell asleep again. Still, I think the sight was good for me; I've been inexplicably grumpy and pugnacious all week, and today I feel peaceful and cheerful.

Today is the Summer Solstice, and it really does feel like a special day. To all my friends who celebrate it, Happy Solstice!

Bacon Recipes: A Poll

I have been researching bacon recipes recently, for an Upcoming Event *grin*. I only intend to make four recipes myself (besides purchased bacon items such as Bacon Chocolate and a comparison of several kinds of simply cooked bacon -- see why I'm limiting myself to four recipes?), and I have found an embarassment of riches, so I figured I'd ask people to help me decide. "None" is NOT an option.
