Thanks for telling me about Karen Healey.

Now I'm wondering what happened to textiles and spinners when all the spindles in the kingdom were broken.

You might like ursulav-- she does fairy tale analysis (mostly of the *what were those people thinking!* variety) now and then, sometimes of obscure tales.
