They Might Be Giants, but I won't find out

I might be fated to never see TMBG perform. When I was in college they came to Harvard to perform, and all my friends went and pronounced it awesome, but I was too sick to go. Now I have tickets with bercilakslady, who is awesome to see things with, but I... am too sick to go.

This being a grownup thing sometimes sucks. I can't help thinking that if I'd called out Thursday and Friday I'd have the strength to go to tonight's concert... but that would have been irresponsible.

Wah.

I'm sorry! I wish you'd been able to go. But man, you know? I think I'm too old for concerts! Even not being sick, the very idea of them makes me weary!

It's funny -- I went to my first non-church non-classical concert in my twenties. I have a lot of concertgoing to make up for.
