The Lights of Hanukkah

Last night Tigerlily took out the The Strand of Hanukkah Lights and put it up on our balcony, beside and across from our neighbors' white fairy light displays. All hail Tigerlily! *cheers* ETA: I just remembered that I have a strand of little white lights in the bottom of my closet, so tonight we'll add it to them as well.
This morning I looked up at our lights, waiting quietly for tonight, for the eight evenings of burgeoning light, of Hanukkah, adding their brightness to the lights gathering house by house in this darkest month of the year.
