Four Good Things & A Quick Musical Meme

(As I sniffle my way through my day.) Yesterday was a frustrating and feverish day, but it contained many good things. Four of them:

• Tigerlily not only kindly drove me to work (today, too) but came and saved me from the rain by picking me up yesterday.
  
• I pleased several friends with things I wrote.
  
• My hair (which I need to have photographed) was complimented. kuangning, if you see this, thank you: oiling, conditioning, and combing in that order really worked.
  
• At home I was lying down, and the Joshlet and Miss Eva came and hung out with me. Then atop me, but I could have worse fates than as a jungle gym.

"Least Complicated" by the Indigo Girls, a good song to listen to as a reminder to forgive myself.
"Like a Prayer" by Madonna. Yeah, really. I love this song, with its metaphor of religion for romance.
"Love Changes Everything" (from Lloyd Webber's Aspects of Love) which I bought entirely and only because it's performed by Captain Jack Harkness John Barrowman.
"Little Beggarman" as done in a fast-paced, wittily delightful fashion by Great Big Sea.
"A Little Priest" from Sweeney Todd. Because!

("Love Changes Everything" is a cute song, but what makes me love this cover is Mr. Barrowman channeling the Jack Harkness mojo as he sings it. It's like 3 minutes of auditory Torchwood!)
