"Here We Go Again"
Today the California Supreme Court is hearing arguments concerning Proposition 8. Yesterday, this article was posted to the Daily Kos *waves to author*:
So, we've come down to it, folks. Tomorrow, the California Supreme Court will hear arguments about a proposition that was designed to strip rights away from a minority population - Proposition 8.
Wait a minute. Weren't we just here a year ago?
Why yes, we were. As a matter of fact, exactly one year ago today, the California Supreme Court heard arguments about a proposition that was designed to strip rights away from a minority population - Proposition 22.
(This is only the first three paragraphs, of course.)
I hope very much that the grave injustice of Proposition 8 will be undone. I thought I had more to type but, really, that is it.
