Two Little, Adorable Things

I'm running out the door *wave to [livejournal.com profile] dr_glam and to WD* but I wanted to put this in my journal:

From [livejournal.com profile] dandelion_diva: Little People: A Tiny Street Art Project, which unutterably charms me.

From my parents: A tiny Bible keychain. I thought it was one or two verses, but it's at least a few books of the Bible, printed in something like 1-point font, with the occasional Good News Bible-style illustration. It is too cute to toss: does anyone who owns a magnifying glass want this miniature Bible? It would be great for a devout Barbie doll.

The idea of a devout Barbie cracks me up. Just saying.

So, there was a pressie in the mail for me! Thank you! I love it!

A Bible I have no way of reading ... where was it for the first 35 years of my life???

Why does the idea of a devout Barbie doll scare me so?

If it can come off the keychain, [livejournal.com profile] sdavido would probably like it for his mini-library. He has a little collection of mini-books. (Because, as everyone knows, we don't have nearly enough books. [cough])

The tiny street people are fantastic! Now that is Art.

Also, a devout Barbie doll would be cool. Dress her in a severe modest dress and hang a tiny cross on her neck and put her hair up modestly and paint her makeup over with cover make-up and put a bible in her hand and wire a speech bubble over her head that says something like "I would like to tell you about Jesus."
