I saw Riverdance at the Wang Center with the original cast minus Michael Flatley. Despite the kitsch reputation that the show, and Flatley, have, Riverdance itself is riveting, exciting theatre and well worth the price of the ticket. If the flamenco number is anything like it was when I saw it 10 years ago, you will be moved. The show traces the history of Irish dance into the USA and celebrates many of its influences.
