Bright September Sky

The thing about historical anniversaries is, not that there's just one thing, that it feels like... one has to say something worthy of the day, or not at all.
I talk as much as anyone, when I feel like I have something to say, but on the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina I had nothing to say that people either didn't know or still steadfastly refuse to believe. Today, with a big blue sky overhead, what can I possibly say that's big enough?
Another thing about historical anniversaries, not that of course there's only one thing, is that as a friend pointed out to me, something happened on every day. A couple years ago a friend of mine and the school newspaper both pointed out that the Chilean coup that brought the notorious military regime to power happened on September 11th; in today's paper it was noted that Gandhi formally began his work on this date (I wish I had managed to keep the article, to type particulars).
I had more to say, but the workday began. And that happens every day, too.
