I really like Phoebe - her great character development and interaction with Angel, and the way she recognized that Mystique was NOT Angel - she's a great OC and a good look at the 'ordinary mutant' who would have no interest in Magneto's plans and plots.

The title was what grabbed my attention - it made me think of all things ephemeral, so that I half-expected a brief romance (which I got) and a potentially awful death (which I was glad to see Phoebe avoid! I think that Angel's attempt to protect her would definitely have failed with an older Magneto, though. Phoebe would have been 'cannon-fodder' at best and an inconvenience to sweep aside at worst.
