From the very first time I set eyes on nu!Kirk, the trifecta of "punch him? kiss him? hug him?" seemed to me to define him. So. :)

And yeah, this was another story poised on the the "not wholly crack but not hugely traumatic" balance. I'm really glad to be told I managed not to drop it off either side. :)
