Holy crap, but that was ridiculously hot. Just one of those two halves on its own would have been enough to rupture my brain, but tucking them both together here like this? Massive braingasm right there. Damn right Pike's man enough to have both Kirks.

I'd love to add something serious here about how well-studied Pike is here as a character, how consistent he is despite the contrasts between the two parts, but, um, that part of my brain really has been short-circuited by the hot. Just... yeah *round of applause*
