Those numbers may be off; according to [livejournal.com profile] rydra_wong, Apparently the numbers are wrong -- people who should know report that, of the US-based employees, 13 are gone and 17 are staying. But, yeah, hard times for LJ. I'm thinking it didn't turn out to be as profitable as the new owners (for whatever reason) thought.

And, not entirely incidentally, they sorta made the LJ community out to be a buncha pervies.... wait, oops, some of us actually are. Scratch that! ;p

I am concerned, too, have been since they took LJ over, and the thought of LJ folding is just awful to contemplate. Horridly, terribly, awful.
