I've always loved Uhura, because she's an awesome character in her own right, but also because I keep identifying with her; she shows that women can be interstellar explorers, that Black people can, that receptionists can. :D Plus in this icon, made by the awesome strawberryelfsp, she just has such a gloriously annoyed expression.
