I've been wanting Jason/Talia ever since Mary suggested the possibility, and this is just so, so right.

Thank you, *so* much. I worked kind of hard on Talia here, pulling together a coherent characterization out of what canon gave (or, mostly, didn't, but Blythe gave me scans of Talia chewing Bruce out for being depressive after the Earthquake that were just the thing) so I'm really glad it worked.

And that whole concept of being your parent's tool and then emerging into your own... well, I can write it with characters as disparate as Dick and Talia, which just makes everything more fun. :)
