Bishop Gene Robinson's Prayer
From my friend sophinisba's wonderful post here. As soon as I read Bishop Robinson's words I knew I had to put them in my journal. (I admit to wondering if prayers at an Inauguration violate the spirit of dividing church and state, but that's another discussion; if we must have them, not least one by Rev. Rick Warren tomorrow, at least we had this one too.) ( A Prayer for the Nation and Our Next President, Barack Obama )
