Fed By Kindness

Everything I've eaten today was given to me with nourishing kindness. When I was whining, my coworker BC gave me a piece of bread; after I had a crying jag, my boss gave me a clementine; a kindly parent brought in a box of cookies and insisted I take one; and by far the most in several ways, my darling WD braved Boston midday traffic just to bring me a fresh-vegetable-and-roast-beef sandwich to make sure I ate something other than sugar and starch.
