BABIES and Friends.

So I did various things yesterday, but the ones that are really important: I rode to work with Tigerlily to work and I held two babies.

The school counselor brought in her GINORMOUS baby son with his huge blue eyes. He kept looking at me curiously -- apparently I resemble his Early Intervention counselor. And he is so CUTE and curious, staring at everything as if to memorize it. We had a great hour of every woman in the office clustering around him and the lone man running away (I thought of teasing him that the AD, a sturdy guy of sturdiness, would also have been all over holding the baby so he wouldn't lose any masculinity points by saying hi, but I decided that was too likely to be unfairly putting him on the spot).

After that stuff happened and it was hot outside.

Then I got to gosling and ceo's place and met their adorable dumpling P, who really likes being stood up and has very strong legs for how little he is. It was great to see all of them, as I haven't since before P's birth, and 5.5-year-old B is tall and smart (we chatted about adding negative numbers) and has a scarily good memory (he remembered the time I was late to dinner because I fell asleep on the T). All that and they acquired shellfish to feed me. *beams happily*

Next time I visit I must remember to bring the dairy-free Olive Oil Chocolate Chip cookies I found a recipe for.

(And oh, BABIES, with their soft cheeks and huge eyes and fuzzy heads and baby milky smell. Eee!)
