Little human kindnesses

I have had kind of a morning. One of the parents called about an errand she had to run, commented that I sounded down, and then came in after she'd finished her errand and brought me candy.

I literally cried, I am so touched. And I'm really going to enjoy watching the kids eat it (yes, I get more enjoyment in general out of giving people candy than eating it, especially these days).
